The ‘families information’ you have provided will be held on the Families Information Service (FIS) Database which is presently hosted on behalf of the Local Authority by Open Objects Software of St John's Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS.

The information is offered to the public in a range of ways including:

• Via a telephone helpline
• In Durham County Council libraries and other DCC Access Points
• Via Sure Start Children’s Centres and Extended Schools

Your information will appear on the FIS website www.countydurhamfamilies.info , and may also appear on a range of DCC websites, such as www.durham.gov.uk, and government/partner websites which could include websites such as www.direct.gov.uk , Health and other national sharing sites that are made available to Local Authorities to promote customer service information.

Please Note: Information marked as confidential is only used to administer the database. Members of the public and organisations are not able to access confidential information. Confidential information is not included on the website.
