Befriending Service "Every Call Counts"

The Pioneering Care Centre are launching a new Telephone Befriending Service “Every Call Counts”  open to people aged 18 and over living in County Durham.  Our Befriending Service aims to provide a weekly phone call from one of our trained staff or volunteer befrienders to promote healthier living and independence to help reduce the feelings of isolation and loneliness, whilst offering an emphatic friendly listening ear and the chance to just talk.

We can offer support by taking the time to talk about how you are feeling and help with managing day to day tasks. Inform you of any other services you may be interested in and what signposting opportunities are available.

If you would like to access our Telephone Befriending Service or require further information please contact  us at the Pioneering Care Centre, Carer’s Way, Newton Aycliffe, DL5 4SF.  Tel: 01325 329 934 or email us at befriending@pcp.uk.net
