Walk and Talk - NCT Durham Branch

Walk and Talk parent support event.

Durham NCT Walk and Talks rotate through 4 venues on a weekly basis, including Broompark Picnic Area, Malton Picnic Area, Durham City Riverside and Rainton Meadows Nature Reserve.

We will meet from 10.15am, ready for a 10.30am start. Led by a  Walk and Talk volunteer, we will walk for approximately 1 hour. All walks are suitable for prams and pushchairs but may be muddy. Please ensure you wear appropriate footwear.

The walk will proceed in all but extreme weather, please ensure you wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

You can book a ticket - this is optional, but allows us to contact you if needed, eg if the walk has to be cancelled due to severe weather

Notes

The safety of everyone attending our walks is our number one priority. Please do not attend the walk if you are shielding, symptomatic or in a period of self-isolation.

By sharing attendee information with the NHS when requested, we can help identify people who have been exposed to coronavirus and help trace close recent contacts of anyone who tests positive. By booking a ticket you agree to your data being shared with the NHS tracing services if it is specifically requested.

Once you have confirmed your place on the walk you will receive an email containing further information about the walk. This will include where we are meeting, how to recognise our volunteers and guidance to help keep you and our volunteers safe.
