Harrowgate Hill Methodist Church
We are a busy worship centre as part of the Darlington & Teesdale Methodist Circuit in Lowson Street, Darlington. Our Mission statement is to "Praise Jesus, love all and share the faith". We offer a warm welcome for all, regardless of age, gender, ability and beliefs.
We have extensive ancillary premises hosting many church based, community and social groups throughout the week including:
- Sunday morning worship at 10.30am
- a lively ladies group that meet on Thursday evenings.
- a church choir.
- a craft group.
- coffee mornings on 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month.
- a banner group.
- lots of social events for all agese.
The 9th Darlington Scout group meet at our church. They welcome girls and boys alike from their various sections - Squirels, Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts and Explorer Scouts.

- 10.30am: Worship and Preaching Service.
Weekday services/activities
- Thursday group: 7.30pm on alternative Thursdays.
- Squirrel Scouts 6.30pm Fridays
- Beaver Scouts: 6.30pm Fridays
- Cub Scouts: 6.30pm Fridays.
- Scouts: 7.45pm Fridays.
- Explorer Scouts: 7.30pm Tuesdays.
- Pre-school group: 9.00am - 12.00pm Monday to Friday mornings and 12.30pm - 3.00pm Monday to Thursday afternoons.
- Saturday coffee mornings: 10.00am - 11.30am on two Saturdays each month in aid of church funds and other charities.
Our premises are rarely unoccupied - please contact us for further details of children's parties etc. Our bookings secretary is Jean, Tel: 01325 258 436.
Funerals, weddings and baptisms etc can be arranged with the Minister, Revd Brian Hutton. Please contact him to discuss your requests Tel: 01325 252185.
