North East Sling Library
We help the north east to carry babies big and small, offering drop in sessions and one-to-one babywearing consultations across the region.
There are seven sessions per month, delivered by trained babywearing consultants. It is £10 for 4 weeks hire.
Our library offers free, peer-to-peer support to other parents, describing own experiences of babywearing, demonstrations of a wide range of baby carriers, and provides as much information about babywearing as possible.
Babywearing consultations are available on a one-to-one basis. (start from £20)
We hold various meetings across the north east. Locations and times can be found on our website.

- Cost description
- It costs £7 to hire a sling for two weeks or £10 for four weeks. This will only be cashed if sling is not returned or is returned in condition which means it cannot be rehired. Please email for more details and prices. There is limited, free stretchy hire for newborns available - please ask for details.

Rachel has a Degree in Education and History - her dissertation was on education of Children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders; she has also undergone training on inclusion. She has completed an online diploma in Autism Awareness and has also completed further training on SEND. Rachel is a qualified teacher and works as an intervention teacher.
