King James I Academy
We are an inclusive school and we employ a large number of highly skilled teachers and support staff who are available to help all of our students to prosper. Our Student Support Workers provide day to day support and work closely with the School Nurse to look after our health needs. We are a caring school.
Our large team of Learning Support Assistants also help us to meet the needs of every child. We also employ a School Counsellor and other support staff who help students to be prepared and able to learn.
We work closely in partnership with our local schools and the public to provide a venue for a large range of community-led educational and leisure activities. Our children take part in a range of activities beyond the school day and there is a seamless connection between the school and community activities which take place on the site.
We offer a wealth of opportunities, which help our students to thrive and which help us to live up to our aim to provide "learning to inspire".
