West Cornforth is a fully furnished supported accommodation service for people with mental health needs, offering medium length support for up to seven years.

Our aim is to support people to reach their full potential and take control over their own lives to enable them in their recovery, lessening the impact of mental health issues to live independently. We aim to support people in their recovery journey, building a meaningful and satisfying life, as defined by the person themselves, whether or not there are ongoing or recurring symptoms and problems

We have:

• thirteen single occupancy accommodation
• one shared occupancy within the Core and Cluster in West Cornforth
• 24 hour support available 
• long stay – between two and seven years

We offer support to people aged 18 years and over.

Areas of support include:

• budgeting
• debt advice
• benefits help
• help to understand your tenancy responsibilities
• developing independent living skills
• settling into your home and setting up utilities
• advice on how to access other services in your local community and help to access
• training, education and employment opportunities
• wellbeing and recovery focused support
