Hall Hill Farm

Set in the beautiful rolling hills of County Durham, we are an award winning mixed farm of 290 hectares - a great day out for children and schools with loads of great things to do and see.

We have a large playbarn with a large playframe and a smaller area for toddlers. There is also a pedal tractor area for children under 8 years. Our large playframe is suitable for children aged 3 years - 10 years old. There is seating for parents and during weekends and school holidays there is a coffee bar.

Children using the softplay will need to wear socks.

Things to do include:

  • tractor rides
  • lamb feeding
  • donkey rides
  • outdoor play area / bouncy pillow / sand pit
  • indoor softplay
  • rabbit handling
  • crazy golf
  • feed the animals and much more.

We are open seven days a week from 10.30am - 5.00pm, April to the end of September and weekends in December. Please check our website for exact opening days/times.
