Tourettes Action UK
We are the UK’s leading support charity for people with Tourette Syndrome (TS) and their families.
TS is a neurological condition; the main symptoms are physical and vocal tics. Up to 85% of people with TS experience co-occurring conditions such as anxiety, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
Our vision is for people with TS to receive the practical support and social acceptance they need to help them live their lives to the full.
We provide services including our helpdesk, befriending service, school presentations, grants and social events for adults and families with TS.

We provide in-house training/consultation with teaching staff about TS, and helping support a child with TS in a school environment. This service is considered on a case by case basis in reponse to families and/or teaching staff contacting the charity looking for help and support.
