BLESMA - The Limbless Veterans
BLESMA is a voluntary organisation for limbless serving and ex-service men and women that suffer loss of use of limbs whilst in service and for those who lose a limb or limbs after service for whatever reason, their widows and dependents.
We:
- Assist and advise you on pensions, allowances, welfare, prosthetics and employment.
- Provide rehabilitation programs
- Offer a range activities throughout the year for beginners to serious adventurers.
- Visit members and widows regularly.
- Support research and development into artificial limbs and the training of prosthetists.
- Provide financial assistance in the form of grants and equipment.
