Chester-le-Street Heritage Group

Our group is interested in the history of the town and surrounding villages. We undertake a variety of projects. In 2019 we are researching Chester-le-Street during the First World War with our Heritage Lottery funded project "Chester Lads (and Lasses) For Ever"

We meet first and third Wednesdays at Chester-le-Street Library and hold a weekly drop in every Tuesday morning at the Salvation Army from 10.00am to 12 noon.
