Darlington Association on Disability - Children and Young People's Service
Our Children and Young People's Service (ChYPS) aims to promote inclusion and participation by providing accessible and inclusive play and leisure opportunities.
Young Leaders - Inclusion, Participation, Leadership: Opportunities for young people aged 12-25 years for training, personal development and to have their say about issues affecting young people.
Bridging - Inclusive Bridging Support Service - Support for children, young people, play and leisure providers so that children and young people can access activities of their choice.
Professional Development and Training - We offer training on inclusion, communication, behaviour management and disability awareness, to enable play and leisure providers to develop skills and increase understanding of inclusive play.
DASH - Inclusive play and leisure sessions during holidays for disabled and non-disabled children between the ages of 3 and 18 years. DASH promotes a free play structure, but some structured activities are also provided, including indoor and outdoor play sessions, workshops, trips to the seaside, soft play, swimming and bowling.
