Help To Health Volunteer Patient Transport
If you live in the Durham Dales, Easington, Sedgefield, Derwentside, Durham or Chester-le-Street areas and need assistance getting to your health appointments, our volunteer drivers can help get you there. We offer a healthcare appointments volunteer car driver service.
You must register to use the service by completing a small over the phone eligibility questionnaire. This must be completed prior to making a booking. A 48hrs working notice is required for journeys.

Eligible patients are those whose medical condition impacts on their mobility to such an extent that they'd be unable to access healthcare and/or it would be detrimental to their condition or recovery to travel by other means.
