EAL and Equalities team
We support schools and early years settings to fulfill their statutory duties under the Equality Act 2010 to eliminate discrimination advance equality of opportunity and foster good relations between people.
This has the aim of ensuring inclusion, equality of access to universal services and improving the educational outcomes for minority ethnic children including those with EAL (English as an Additional Language).
The intended outcomes of our service are to reduce inequalities, prevent underacheivement and advance equalities.
