Northern Counties School
Northern Counties School is part of the Percy Hedley Foundation. We provide education for children and young people aged 3-19 years who are deaf or have a visual impairment, complex needs including profound and multiple learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorder, many of whom display significant behaviours of concern and have an associated learning difficulty.
We work with an integrated therapy/teaching approach within a specialist communication environment and have close links with relevant health andsocial care providers. We have a strong focus on Positive Behaviour Support with the aim of improving the quality of life for all our learners.
