North East Autism Society - Toddler Groups

We offer a free Toddler Group service for parents/carers of children aged 0-5 years old who have autism and special needs.

Trained autism practitioners will deliver sessions that aim to:

  • Provide a safe place where parents can spend time with other parents who are in similar situation.
  • Provide information, advice and signposting in relation to parents and their child’s needs.
  • Provide a space where children are able to have fun, engaging in activities which are meaningfull and positive.

Each session has a set routine which includes:

  • structured activity
  • outdoor play (where possible)
  • snack music/story
  • goodbye song
