Able 2

With projects in Forest Hall, North Shields and Westerhope, adults have access to a huge choice ofactivities. From horticulture, woodwork and metalcraft to sport, media and cooking, we have the resources to ensure we offer the best services that enable people to develop their hobbies and interests.

Our sports include boccia, cycling, multi-sports and archery as well as our two competitive teams including Northern Thunder elite power chair football and wheelchair basketball.

We have an enterprise base on the Orion Business Park in North Shields where adults can develop their skills and undertake a variety of projects. At Forest Hall and North Shields we have an onsite team of dedicated therapists, who specialise in working with disabled people.

Our aim is to ensure that adults have fun, enjoy their time and learn new skills. What makes us special are the resources we have, but what really sets us apart is our people and ensuring they are at the heart of everything we do.
