Kuraikan Aikido Dojo

Aikido is an ancient Japanese art for spiritual development and self defence. The art is based on throws and holds, developed from sword and stick techniques.

Aikido is non-competitive and uses internal body energy (ki) to harmonise with an opponent.

Our group meets at Chester-le-Street Community Centre on Thursdays from 7.30 - 9.30pm and North Durham Academy in Stanley on Fridays from 5.00 - 6.00pm.

Everyone welcome.
