FoodCycle Durham

Every Wednesday evening at 6.00pm, we serve delicious food at Sanctuary 21, a local Salvation Army centre. We are a mixture of Durham University students and local residents. We work in partnership with the university colleges, churches, and our local Transition Towns organisation.

We collect surplus ingredients from the very generous Durham Indoor Market, Robinsons on North Road, Ciao Ciao bakery and Flat White cafe. We then plan, create and serve a nutritious meal for our guests from Durham and the surrounding area.
