The Learning Library
The Learning Library is a registered charity operating in County Durham. We provide a unique free outreach loan service to children or adults who have additional needs.
Our friendly outreach workers bring the Learning Library to you, at a time and place to suit you, and offer a wide range of sensory items, specialist equipment and toys.
These items aimed at promoting social, emotional/physical development and thereby encouraging members to reach their full potential.
Anyone with an additonal needs, their parent, carer or supporting organisations can make a referral by contacting us.

Our service is available to children, young people, adults and the elderly - anyone who has an additional need. Anyone wishing to join can contact the Learning Library themselves, or a representative can do so. We also accept referrals from any professional, however consent must be obtained from the individual or their representastive.
