Autie Mates Autism Adult Support

A peer support group for autistic adults, we are the sister group of little treasures autism charity. We meet once a month to gain support, advice, build friendships and share interests. Our groups are lovely, the other members are very friendly too. We have board games and crafts in groups and we just generally chat about life and about what services are out there so it's good for advice too.

We will also be offering life skill sessions; all sessions are for pre and post diagnosed autistic adults and they are drop in sessions run by autistic adults too.

We go for trips out to the cinema, bowling and other things, we have either activities at Christmas or go out for a group meal.

All drop in sessions are £2 per person and for ages 18+.

Little treasures autism charity will also be feeding into our groups, asking for our advice as autistic adults to continue to improve their services and give feedback to other services.

They sometimes also want our input as autistic adults to help write up workshops to deliver to parents and professionals, but you will always be notified when this happens and be asked if you want to take part so there’s never any pressure.

You can find us on Facebook @AUTIEMATES and we also have a private support page separate to this to get online instant support.
