British Association of Teachers of the Deaf (BATOD)

We offer general information about the education of deaf children. Please visit our website or contact us for more information.

Our website includes a range of teaching materials which have been submitted by Teachers of the Deaf to share with colleagues.

We hold regular meetings and events. Please visit our website for information about dates and venues.

There are no set times when our helpline is staffed but an answer phone service is always available and all calls are answered as quickly as possible.

We are the sole Professional Association for Teachers of the Deaf in the UK.
