Learning for Life
We are a charity and we deliver both Education and Social Care in Consett, County Durham as well as in Newcastle, for adults aged 16 years and over who have a diverse range of disabilities.
Based across our sites, we provide:
- Accredited education for age 16 plus
- Day care social activities and community participation
- Employability skills/voluntary work/social enterprise projects
- Cookery sessions
- Art and crafts
- Woodcraft
- Music and Makaton sessions
- Sports inc archery, bocha, football
- Outdoor activities and excercise
- Gardening
- Independant living skills
- Sensory interaction and meaningful stimulation
