Refuge

We support women and children who experience all forms of violence and abuse, including domestic violence, sexual violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, so-called ‘honour’-based violence, and human trafficking and modern slavery.

We offer safe, emergency accommodation across the country and run a 24 hour national domestic violence helpline, in partnership with Women's Aid.

We can also offer:

  • community based outreach services
  • specialist services for minority ethnic communities
  • independent domestic violence advocates (IDVAs)

Our service also raises public awareness of the issue and campaigns and lobbies for better services for women and children experiencing domestic violence.
