Growth Equestrian – The Wellbeing Project
The Wellbeing Project offer Equine Assisted Therapy (EAT) delivered by qualified and experienced professionals.
Equine assisted therapy (EAT) is therapy that encompasses a variety of activities, exercises, and treatments delivered by specialists in an equine setting, that are used to improve and promote better physical and mental health.
At Growth Equestrian our team, humans and horses, are specially chosen and trained to have a heightened awareness of and ability to respond to the emotions of young people.
Our EAT programmes are designed and delivered by an experienced skilled team including a qualified CBT therapist, support workers and equine specialists who also have experience working in youth offending, secure units, supported living accommodation, hostels and prisons.
We offer a variety of intervention programmes and long or short term courses are available for individuals or groups.
All of our programmes are person centric and tailored to meet the needs of the individual attending
The Wellbeing project is open to all. Referrals can be made privately directly to us in absolute confidence.
