Cardiac Risk in the Young - CRY
Every week in the UK at least 12 young people die of undiagnosed heart conditions. Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) is a UK charity supporting those affected by conditions that can cause young sudden cardiac death.
We provide bereavement support and fund expert pathology investigations at the CRY Centre for Cardiac Pathology. We raise awareness of signs and symptoms of cardiac conditions and support young people diagnosed with life-threatening conditions through the myheart Network.
We fund medical research and operate a nationwide cardiac screening programme for any person between the age of 14-35 years.
