Herpes Viruses Association and Shingles Support Society
We can provide you with accurate information on the herpes simplex virus. This viral skin condition can cause cold sores on the face, whitlows on the fingers, or herpes on the genitals, or on any other skin area where it has gained entry.
We provide advice and counselling on coping with the virus to those affected physically or mentally. Help can be given over the telephone, by email/letter or one-to-one in our London office. You can also join our free Zoom sessions: dates and contact details on the website.
Why not join our membership scheme to receive:
- leaflets and articles
- quarterly journals
- details of workshops, seminars, meetings and social events
Please visit our website for more information.
Our Shingles Support Society website (https://shinglessupport.org.uk) tells you about shingles and its itreatment. It tells you how it happens, and that the virus is not readily passed on to others. Also, you can see self-help ideas. You can also talk to the Herpres helpline to get more answers.
