Shout - support in a crisis
We are a text service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week if you're experiencing a personal crisis, are unable to cope and need support.
We can help with urgent issues such as:
- suicidal thoughts
- abuse or assault
- self-harm
- bullying
- relationship crisis
How the service works:
When you text Shout to 85258 you will receive an automated message from Shout and then we will connect you to one of our crisis volunteers by text.
Together with the volunteer you will address your crisis and agree an action plan to help yourself. You might also be provided with information about other more specialised charities and services, so that you can continue to get support.
