Our Learning Disabilities Floating Support service provides tenancy support for people living in their own home who have an identified Learning Disability or difficulty.

• Up to 35 spaces available across County Durham
• Support for people aged 18 and over.
• Short term support for up to two years.

Areas of support include:

• budgeting
• debt advice and benefits
• help to understand your tenancy responsibilities
• developing independent living skills
• settling into your home and setting up utilities
• advice on how to access other services in your local community
• help to access training, education and employment opportunities

Parents with Learning Disabilities Floating Support

This service provides:

• advice and guidance on parenting skills for people with learning disabilities
• housing related support for parents with learning disabilities
• support for the whole family
• up to 15 spaces.
• cover in East Durham and Derwentside
• support for people aged 16 years and over
