County Durham Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service - Young People and Families Services

We aim to offer ways for local people with drug and alcohol problems to become free from their dependence. We also want to reduce the problems that substance misuse causes to families, friendships, workplaces and communities in County Durham.

We have staff who are specially trained to work with young people and understand the problems you face. We can speak to you on a one-to-one basis. We don’t need to tell your family what we’re talking about. If you’re worried about someone who has a drug or alcohol problem, we can give you some guidance too.

If you are a parent in drug and alcohol treatment, you’ll know it can have a big knock on effect for families – especially for any children. Experienced workers at our recovery centres are able to help with your concerns.
