Anxiety Alliance Helpline

We are a charity dedicated to helping and supporting those suffering from anxiety and their families. Anxiety is a surprisingly common condition, affecting an estimated 10% of the UK population at any one time, or more than 6 million people. We know it can be really hard to deal with, but you are not alone. We are here to help you if you suffer from any type of anxiety disorder, including:

  • General Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
  • a phobia
  • panic attacks
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

We can also advise you about withdrawing from tranquillisers and anti-depressants. Visit our website for details of the help we have available in order for you to regain control of your life, including our helpline, self-help groups, factsheets, and relaxation CDs. Our helpline is open seven days a week between 9.00am - 11.00pm.
