The Small Pilgrim Places Network invites people to pause, ponder, reflect and slow down. In the parish of St Michael and All Angels in Witton Gilbert we offer a beautiful area of relaxation where you can do just that.

We have a church building in a delightful rural location. Alongside is Witton Dene, a local nature reserve, and a network of footpaths that take you out into peaceful countryside.

Both church and churchyard have an aura of peace that stems from the centuries of prayer in the church. We want to share this wonderful place, not only with the people of Witton Gilbert and the surrounding area, but also with visitors coming to enjoy the history and beauty of our countryside.
