We are a national charity for people with Ataxia, their families and carers. We provide support and aim to find treatments and cures.
Our aims are:
- to provide information, advice and support to people affected by ataxia to enable them to have the highest possible quality of life
- to raise money for research into treatments and a cure for ataxias
Our activities include:
- Helpline and Advocacy service
- Virtual Activities including information on living with ataxia and wellbeing events
- our website with information on research and support
- a quarterly magazine, monthly e-newsletter, information leaflets and an annual report
- support to access grants for people affected by ataxia
- organising local branches, contacts and meetings

- Our services are mostly free to people affected by ataxia. We sometimes charge a small fee for some of our virtual activities but we don't want anyone to miss out so waive the cost if someone is unable to buy a ticket.
