Cruse Bereavement Support - Darlington and Durham Area

We offer counselling, support and information to bereaved people, and aims to enable anyone bereaved by death to understand their grief and cope with their loss, regardless of age, race, religion, disability, gender or sexual preference.

Cruse's specially trained volunteers offer support to children and young people, as well as guiding parents, guardians and teachers.

Self-referrals are accepted. Third Party Referrals are accepted with the free and informed consent of the client.

We provide confidentiality as an integral part of its service provision.

All of our services are free of charge to the client. Donations are welcomed to help towards the costs of the service.

We provide several training courses; please contact us to find out more.

All our volunteers are required to comply with and maintain the Cruse National Standards and the Code of Ethics of the British Association for Counselling. We are an organisational member of the British Association for Counselling.
