Janice Crouch

I offer ‘30 hours childcare for working parents’.

I offer a range childcare for working parents depending on your needs.

I am an experienced childminder, rated Good by Ofsted

I have been a childminder for over 15 years and I also offer the 15/30 hours funding childcare for both 2 year olds and 3/4 year olds.

With my car I am willing to take/collect from various schools and nurseries in Belmont and Pittington.

Outings include regular visits to parks and local playgroups, local places of interest (for example the Botanic Gardens/Oriental Museum/seaside). I also engage children in a wide range of activities thus enhancing their experiences.

I offer a home from home setting, helping little ones have fun, grow in confidence and gain new skills/knowledge

All children are regularly observed and assessed for next steps, through my knowledge/training and knowing the children any additional needs can be identified and help given.

How will the curriculum be matched to meet children's developmental needs?

How will the curriculum be matched to meet children's developmental needs?

Through getting to know your child, I can ensure that activities/experiences are relevant to individual children and will help with their future development.  I also follow on from any childrens interests and likes whilst also referring to the EYFS to guide my setting.

What training have the staff supporting children with SEND had, or are having?

How will the early years provision prepare and support my child(ren's) transition to their next educational establishment?

How will the early years provision prepare and support my child(ren's) transition to their next educational establishment?

I have over time built relationships with several local nurseries/schools and chidren are often with me when I collect others so gain sense of familiarity with different settings.  I also do a transition sheet which I pass onto new settings to help them make the move easier.
