Beamish Primary School and Nursery Unit

We offer ‘30 hours childcare for working parents’.

We are a small village primary school, rated 'Good' in our last Ofsted inspection (October 2021). We are situated close to Beamish Museum, and have been serving the nearby area for over 100 years. We have four classes, including a flourishing nursery which offers 2 year old provsion. Children start with us in nursery, and stay with us until they are ready for secondary school. We are very much a community school, and we know our children and families extremely well.

More information is available on the school website and visits are warmly welcomed.
