We are a private day nursery located in Chester-le-Street. We received 'outstanding' grades at our last two Ofsted inspections for high quality provision for children aged birth to 5 years old.

Staff maintain accurate and up to date files on all their key children. Their progress is linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage and is continually monitored.

Staff have a wealth of experience and are able to quickly identify and highlight children with whom they might have concerns about regarding their progress.

Staff plan individually for all children on a weekly or fortnightly basis to ensure they can match the curriculum specifically to childrens individual requirements.

Over half of the staff have received Autism training. The nursery has a strong commitment to furthering the knowledge and understanding of staff working with childen with SEN. Some members of staff have also been trained to use Makaton. There is also a wealth of experience working with speech and language concerns.

The nursery is a large three story building with extensive outdoor provision. The nursery are commited to trying to support and provide care for a wide range of needs.

The nursery maintain excellent communication with parents, schools and any other  providers involved with their children. Diaries, permission to share information sheets and communication books are kept between the nursery and any other childcare settings working with the child.
