Shotley Bridge Nursery School Limited
We offer ‘30 hours childcare for working parents'.
Shotley Bridge Nursery School opened in 1991. We were the first private nursery in Derwentside and have built a reputation for outstanding childcare over the years. We continue to strive to be at the forefront of childcare and maintain high standards in both care and education.
We work within the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework which sets the standards for learning, development, safety and welfare for children from birth to five years. All our staff are DBS approved and trained in Safeguarding Level 2.
Our highly qualified, experienced and friendly nursery teachers, early years professionals and Level 3 nursery nurses encourage your child’s individual potential in a happy, caring and stimulating environment. In addition, specialised staff are responsible for Special Educational Needs, Health and Safety and First Aid.
The happiness, wellbeing and development of your child is at the heart of everything we do and, we believe that parental partnership is crucial to this. We pride ourselves on our strong sense of community and our relationships with external partners are firmly established and maintained.
