Marie Deans - Childminder
I offer ‘30 hours childcare for working parents’.
Spaces are currently available for 15 and 30 hour funded spaces for 2,3 and 4 year olds.
My name is Marie Deans and I am a OFSTED registered Childminder. I work alongside my husband Chris who acts as my assistant and together we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
We have two children, Charlie (10) and Rosie (8) and along with all the children we care for we are one big happy family. We live in a large three bedroom detached home in Consett with a large enclosed garden. The garage has been converted into a playroom which is full of toys and resources to encourage and ensure your children meet all aspects of the EYFS.
We provide home from home childcare in a safe and happy environment, with lots of activities to suit your children's needs and development as well as organised trips to toddler/baby groups, softplay, the park and farm.
We also practice forest childcare using local parks and woodland to use natural materials to promote leaning and development. We also have an allotment which we visit with the children to collect the eggs from our small flock of chickens and grow a variety of vegetables to encourage the children to grow and eat their own produce.
We offer funded 2,3 and 4 year old childcare places subject to availability. Please feel free to message with any queries and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
