Wingate Childcare

We offer ‘30 hours childcare for working parents’.

We provide care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We offer full day care, sessional care and funded places for 2 and 3 year old children. We are incopriated into Wingate Nursery School and the two complanies work closely together.

We aim to provide a safe, warm, and homely environment, a stimulating place where children can play, explore, talk, learn and have fun together.

Local Offer description

At Wingate Childcare, we recognise that all pupils are entitled to a quality of provision that will enable them to achieve their potential. We believe in positive intervention, removing barriers to learning, raising expectations and levels of achievement and working in partnership with other agencies in order to provide a positive educational experience for all our pupils including those with a special educational need or disability.

If you are worried or concerned about your child, please speak to your child's key person, or the childcare manager. We can chat through your concerns, talk about support and make a joint decision about next steps.

How will the curriculum be matched to meet children's developmental needs?

The curriculum is play based, creative and innovative - and most importantly based on our observations of children's interests and fascinations. We ensure the curriculum is matched to the needs of all children.
