Lumen Days Childminding

Lumen Days Childminding is a warm family setting. We aim to provide bright days for children to enjoy their early years adventure. Children will be encouraged to develop their independence, resilience & imagination as part of our extended Lumen Days family.

I achieved QTS in 2003 & worked as a secondary English & Drama teacher for 18 years.  My MA ED is from Durham University, & I have over a decade in middle leadership roles. I have a BA dual Hons in English & Sociology with a special interest in education & children's literature. I am studying for a NPQEYL & undertook an EKLAN Language & Communication Ambassador course in July 2023.

As part of our Lumen Days family I are able to spend quality time with your child. My 20 years as an experienced educator mean that I am able to make early identifications of children who need additional support & provide a stimulating environment for them to make the best progress they can.
