BBC Children in Need Emergency Essentials Programme

The BBC Children in Need Emergency Essentials Programme supports children and young people who are facing exceptionally difficult circumstances. The programme provides items that meet a child’s most basic needs such as a bed to sleep in, a cooker to provide a hot meal and other items or services critical to a child’s wellbeing.

NEFirst Credit Union

NEFirst Credit Union have been providing savings and loan accounts for their members across the North East for more than 20 years.

Buttle UK

Frank Buttle Trust provide individual grants to children and young people whose development, health and wellbeing are at risk and who have experienced a range of health, social and emotional difficulties.

County Durham Community Foundation are an independent local charity who aim to improve the quality of life for people in County Durham and Darlington by channelling funds to grass roots communities.

United Utilities Trust Fund

United Utilities Trust Fund help people out of poverty and debt - thanks to donations by United Utilities Water Plc. People unable to meet the cost of water charges and who live in the United Utilities area can apply for help.

EDF Energy Trust

EDF Energy Trust focus on fuel poverty and helping families and individuals who are struggling to pay for their domestic supply of gas and electricity.

nPower Energy Fund

The nPower Energy Fund can help domestic customers of npower who are experiencing hardship and struggling to pay their gas and electricity bills regain a hold on their finances with the ability to meet future bills.
